These Terms of Service govern your use of the website located at https://eventdock.app and any related services provided by AZdev Ontario Ltd.

By accessing https://eventdock.app, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using or accessing this website or using any other services provided by AZdev Ontario Ltd.

We, AZdev Ontario Ltd., reserve the right to review and amend any of these Terms of Service at our sole discretion. Upon doing so, we will update this page. Any changes to these Terms of Service will take effect immediately from the date of publication.

1. Definitions

In these Terms of Service:

"Service" means the EventDock webhook reliability platform, including all related software, APIs, documentation, and support services.
"Account" means your EventDock account created to access the Service.
"Webhook" means HTTP callbacks or notifications sent from third-party services to your designated endpoints.
"Content" means any data, webhooks, configurations, or information you submit through the Service.
"Subscription" means your paid or free tier access to the Service.

2. Limitations of Use

By using this website and the Service, you warrant on behalf of yourself, your users, and other parties you represent that you will not:

Modify, copy, prepare derivative works of, decompile, or reverse engineer any materials and software contained on this website or within the Service;
Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from any materials and software;
Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server;
Knowingly or negligently use the Service in a way that abuses or disrupts our networks or any other service provided;
Use the Service to transmit or publish any harassing, indecent, obscene, fraudulent, or unlawful material;
Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws or regulations;
Use the Service to send spam, phishing attempts, or malicious content;
Collect or track personal information of others without proper authorization;
Use the Service to violate the rights of others, including intellectual property rights;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems;
Exceed the usage limits of your Subscription tier or use the Service for benchmarking purposes without prior written consent.

3. Service Description

EventDock provides webhook reliability infrastructure, including:

Webhook ingestion and storage
Automatic retry logic with exponential backoff
Dead letter queue management for failed deliveries
Webhook signature verification for supported providers
Monitoring, analytics, and alerting capabilities
API access for programmatic control

4. Service Level and Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime for the Service. However, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Scheduled maintenance may occur with or without prior notice.

We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime, including but not limited to lost webhooks, delayed deliveries, or data unavailability.

5. Subscription Terms and Pricing

5.1 Subscription Tiers

EventDock offers multiple subscription tiers with varying features and limits. Current pricing and tier details are available at https://eventdock.app.

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance, as selected at time of purchase.
Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
Failed payments may result in service suspension or termination.

5.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions.

30-Day Refund Window: You may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase or renewal.
How to Request: Contact support@eventdock.app with your account email and refund request.
Processing Time: Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.
Service Access: Upon refund approval, your access to paid features will be terminated immediately.
Data Export: Ensure you export any data you need before requesting a refund.

This refund policy applies to all subscription tiers including Starter, Team, and Enterprise plans.

5.4 Usage Limits

Each subscription tier includes specific limits on:

Number of webhooks per month
Number of endpoints
Data retention period
API request rate limits

Exceeding your tier's limits may result in service throttling, additional charges, or requirement to upgrade to a higher tier.

5.5 Free Tier

The free tier is provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Free tier users receive limited support and lower service priority. The 30-day refund policy does not apply to free tier accounts.

6. Account and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to:

Provide accurate and complete registration information
Maintain and update your account information
Keep your password secure and confidential
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

7. Data and Privacy

7.1 Your Data

You retain all rights to your webhook data and configurations. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store, process, and transmit your data solely to provide the Service.

7.2 Data Retention

Webhook data is retained according to your subscription tier's retention period. After this period, data may be automatically deleted. You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to preserve.

7.3 Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at https://eventdock.app/privacy.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all software, documentation, logos, and trademarks, is owned by AZdev Ontario Ltd. and protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not use our intellectual property without prior written permission, except as necessary to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AZDEV ONTARIO LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Lost profits, revenue, or data
Lost webhooks or delayed deliveries
Service interruptions or downtime
Errors in webhook delivery or processing
Unauthorized access to your data
Any other damages arising from use or inability to use the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AZdev Ontario Ltd., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Your Content or webhook data

11. Termination

11.1 By You

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are available within 30 days of purchase or renewal as described in Section 5.3 (Refund Policy).

11.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:

Violate these Terms of Service
Fail to pay fees when due
Use the Service in a manner that causes harm or liability
Provide false information during registration

We may also terminate free tier accounts at any time with or without notice.

11.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and your data will be deleted according to our retention policy. You remain responsible for any fees incurred before termination.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party webhook providers (such as Stripe, Shopify, GitHub). Your use of these integrations is subject to the third party's own terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

13. Warranty Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

14. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or any part thereof at any time with or without notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

15. Support

Support is provided according to your subscription tier. Free tier users receive community support only. Paid subscribers receive email support with response time targets based on tier level.

16. Export Compliance

You agree to comply with all applicable export and import control laws and regulations in your use of the Service.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AZdev Ontario Ltd. regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
